Who we are
Eleven Plus Bee is an early-stage UK startup founded by Amit Bhansali. Contact: hello@elevenplusbee.com.
What we collect during the beta
Early-access list
If you join the early-access list using the form on our website, we store your first name, your email address, your child's school year (Year 3 to Year 6), the target test or area if you give one, and the time you gave your consent. We do not ask for your child's name. We use these details only to contact you about the Eleven Plus Bee beta, including one email to confirm you're on the list, sent through our email service, Resend. We never share them with anyone else, sell them or use them for advertising. To stop repeated sign-ups, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) form of the internet address the form was sent from. To have your details deleted, email hello@elevenplusbee.com.
If you email us instead, we keep your name, email address and the details you choose to send. We do not collect any information directly from children on this website.
Parent accounts (beta)
If you create a parent account we store your email address, a securely hashed password and a hashed parent PIN. For each child you add we store the nickname and school year you choose, and their practice answers: which question, the option picked, whether it was right, the time taken and the date. We use this only to show you your child's progress. You can delete a child's data at any time from the parent area, or email us to close your account.
AI insight
When you ask a question in the parent area, we send your question and a summary of that child's practice results (nickname, school year, scores, mistake patterns, and the stars, level, streak and badges they've earned) to Google, which provides the Gemini AI model we use while we test with made-up data (real families' data goes to Anthropic's Claude instead), so it can write an answer. We never send your email address or any other contact details. Children cannot use the AI insight.
Why we use it
To run your parent account and show you your child's progress, and, if you joined the early-access list or emailed us, to contact you about the Eleven Plus Bee beta. We never sell your details or use them for advertising. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Until the beta ends or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie when you sign in to a parent account, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
